Pitch Camp was a hoot

The first phase of Fast Pitch Nashville got underway last Friday at Belmont University with Pitch Camp. The event offered attendees the chance to hear about lead generation and presentation design from noted entrepreneur Dr. Jeff Stamp and Ethos 3 Communications CEO Scott Schwertly respectfully.

Since I’m not making a pitch my goal for going was to learn some new principles and how to be a more effective communicator. Both talks were homeruns in that regard. The workshop was also a great networking event too.

If you missed the event the presentations are available via the Fast Pitch channel on ustream.tv. I encourage everyone to come out for Open Pitch where everyone will have 60 seconds to pitch their refined idea. Selected finalists will then moved on to Fast Pitch where they will pitch their idea for a chance to win cash prizes and the opportunity to present to the Angel Capital Group for funding.
